Alex Inman is now in his ninth year with The Entrepreneur’s Source, coaching individuals interested in learning about business ownership and self-sufficiency.
He works with many in career transition or facing career uncertainty, in addition to those simply seeking new challenges, new business opportunities, or additional income streams. Alex takes pride in coaching many veterans, whether they be in the midst of transition to civilian life or those who have been out awhile but now find themselves striving to build a better future for themselves.
He brings 35 years of varied business success to his practice, having worked in senior sales, marketing, and communications roles in the sports, media, and technology industries with highly-recognized brands; he also served as a consultant to the non-profit sector.
Alex’s entrepreneurial background includes prior start-up experiences, including the very successful launch of a well-known consumer brand’s Internet presence. He has no regrets about stepping outside his prior boundaries and pursuing his dreams, and can relate to those considering such a move. The learning gained from all his career experiences are routinely drawn upon and shared with his clients.
Alex is married and has a daughter and son. A Texas native and graduate of the University of Virginia, he returned to Charlottesville in 2003. He is active in the local Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Defense Affairs Committee and Veterans Subcommittee, has served on the board of directors for three area non-profit organizations, enjoys golf and fishing (but isn’t especially good at either), and is an accomplished, veteran basketball official active in training and mentoring new officials.
